Help getting back after HDDR?

We are planning on attending the Hoop Dee Doo Review at 6 pm on a night when the MK is having MVMCP, so will be closed to us after 7 since we're only planning on spending the day there but not buying tickets.

Is it possible to still take that boat back from HDDR after the show ends to the MK, (and then get back to the Poly via monorail?) Or will they not run boats that way once the park is closed? I wasn't sure if the boat lands inside the park and you'd need a valid ticket to get in, or if it lands outside the gates?

If that's not going to work, is there a better way to get back to the Poly? Cab or just drive and park at the far end of the campgrounds?

The park isnt closed, you just wont be allowed in it without a ticket for the event. All transportation will still be running at that point, so yes you could do what you mentioned.

The boats, buses and monorails are outside the park. You don't need a ticket to use the transportation.
