My DH and I would like to take a trip next March or DS will be 10 months old. We would like to stay at POFQ because it is our favorite and I think it will be easy being a smaller resort.

Here is what I need to know.
1. We would like to go 3/30 to 4/5 it is a wonderful week. Is this a crowded time of year?
2. How is traveling with an infant?
3. What do I need to know? What should we do? What shouldn't we do?

TIA for your help we really need it!:thumbsup2

Easter is March 23, 2008. It will still be very crowded the week after Easter but then crowds thin quickly.

Does anyone have any specific information about the second week after Easter?

I can't answer about crowds in March/April, but we did take our DS to WDW for the first time when he was 10 months old. It was a great experience for us. My suggestions are to take it slow and easy. Don't plan on doing anything quickly. Our DS was just starting to eat table foods so meals took twice as long as expected. And make sure you have a comfortable stroller for the little guy so he can nap/sleep and y'all can still wander around the parks.

my kids are on spring break that week so yes, it will be very, very crowded.

I always thought it was a crowded time of year, but I've never been then. We did take DD at 9 months and it was great! She was so good and slept in her stroller. We used hot water from any restaurant to heat up her babyfood.

Would the week after that be a little bit better? I know that April school vacation will be the week after that.

The first time I brought my youngest she was 16 months and I was still nursing. She was no problem at all and this was a perfect time to wean her because she was not as interested in nursing with all of the action. She went down to two times a day in Disney then once at home. I think if you approach it the right way you can bring a child of any age to Disney. Just don't go hole hog as you would with older children.

If you're talking 2008, every Georgia school I've checked has Spring break the week of April 6-12. Spring Break can be anywhere from the last week in March to any week in April. I would guess that the crowds will be thick most of the month.
