Is the view from the lawn decent or is it worth $$$$ to get seats under cover? It looks very similiar to Nissan Pavilion and the views from the lawn are really good there. Hoping to see Jimmy Buffet there in June!

I have been there once (sat in the reserved section,a nd it was called Blockbuster then). Unless things have changed, near the bottom of the lawn there are some benches if you don't want to sit on the ground. It's kinda small to me (smaller than Walnut Creek in Raleigh), so I would think the view would be OK enough. However, I would personally never sit on the lawn for Jimmy Buffett there or anywhere because there will be drunks all around you. Now, if they have a family section like at Walnut Creek (no smoking, no drinking), then I might give it a try, although I bet it will be crowded as all get out (all his shows sell out rather quickly at WC). If there is no family section, I would definiltely shell out the extra $$ for reserved seats.

One thing I did like about the reserved section at Verizon is all the seats are under the cover. At Walnut Creek, that's not the case.
