Hi there, I'm looking for some advice and hoping I've come to the right place to find it, pardon the epic text below!!!

I've been to Orlando now 13 times and am currently planning trip number 14.....trouble is, in all those visits, I've never stayed onsite before..... (shock, horror!).

My family and I are heading out on August 18th this year, and planning to stay onsite for 5 nights, with the remainder of our holiday in a private villa just off the 192.

As we're staying onsite 5 nights, I'd like to take in the offer of free Quick Service Dining (I have two VERY fussy eaters, so any of the upgraded dining plans would sadly be wasted on them :sad1: )

So far, I can only find Moderate resorts offering this and I'm looking at possibly Port Orleans Riverside - we're looking at getting 21 day Ultimate tickets too, so we can have complete flexibility for the duration of our holiday. The best price I have seen (and basically the only one I can find that incorporates the dining) is £1476.00 - namely 5 nights at POR and 4 adult 21 day ultimate tickets.

Am I missing a better deal somewhere else? I know that free QS dining has just been offered in the US for Value resorts, but you need to buy two day Magic Your Way tickets for each member of your party, and I still would need to get extra tickets for the remaining holiday, and it would end up costing more than the £1476...

I really hope someone can help me out here, I'd hate to go ahead and book that and then find out I'd missed out on a much better deal elsewhere.

Many thanks in advance.

I'm going to let those more qualified than me answer your question, Squidgey, but in the meantime, I'd like to wish you a very warm welcome to the DIS.

With 13 visits under your belt, you're an old pro, so I very much hope you'll stay around and join in. :goodvibes

Hi Squidgey, welcome.:welcome:

I doubt you are going to do much better than Disney.co.uk
Most of the cost for you is in the tickets, look at Kenny's thread here Disney are very competative with the tickets, they are also competative with the hotels so you might as well buy together and get the free DDP.
I know you said QSDDP but my wife is a very fussy eater and she always found something last year for 16 nights, she did not hesitate to book again for 21 nights this August so I would suggest you consider Old Key West or Sarratoga Springs instead, only £20pp more but you get 5 days of regular Dining plan instead of 5 days of Quick service

Also use a cashback site to buy thru, Quidco is the most popular, they pay 3%. http://www.quidco.com/disney-florida-holidays/?ac

After cashback POR £1431.72
Or OKW/SSR £1509.32
£77.70 more for Deluxe DVC & regular DDP over Moderate & QSDDP.

Not sure what constitutes youer family but lookign at your price I assume it is two adults and two holidren over 9 and the price is from Disney Uk?

Whilst not cheaper I think you can get better value for slightly more money if your budget can stretch a little?

You can get a 1 bed villa at Old Key West (very large at 942 sq feet compared to 314 at POR), seperate master bedroon and full kitchen. For the villa, 4 adult 21 days tickets and FREE full disney dining plan it would be £1,731 but if you order via Quidco you get 3% discount which brings it down to £1,509 :thumbsup2

hello and welcome:flower3:
i m not an expert either, but i would say for 5 days i would do the qsdp, IF you have no interest in TS meals, there are so many good CS places, WPE, SS FTB etc, that you dont need to eat burgers every day with a bit of research.
we loved PORS last visit, the food court is excellent if busy, and offers soem varied and interesting choices..
If you are going to be doing TS meals, then i agree with guru wayne:worship:, that you might want to opgrade to SSR/OKW as there alot of us taking this offer up this summer;)
you could also stick to PORS and pay the upgrade cost to DDp...

there s a few options, hope they made sense
