I have a friend who very likely will be going to DisneyWorld with us. I am a seasoned vet. and there is so much I wanna tell her but I really don't know what she would need to know, what she would want to know and what would be way to overwelming to tell her. So....my question is, what would you liked to have known your first trip to WDW???

There 's so many different things I would have liked to know before my first trip but i always think that until you have actually been, no matter how well it is described, you can never actually imagine how great it really is.

Seen as im from the UK and we dont really have hot sunny days, i would have liked to know how hot, humid and exhausting it can get throughout the day.

Also, how fastpass is the best option because it really speeds up the queueing process (we visited three times before we used fastpass) and once we had tried it, we wished we'd used it before.

Finally i would have liked to know that the parks close earlier during off-peak season. We didnt realise this when we visited last October and it was quite disappointing.

Hope ive helped!!!!!!!!!!

Well, we are from Ohio which is the only state that has ten months of winter and then two months of blistering summer but I have warned her about the weather, which is really rather cool for us....amazingly!

We are going in the off season but we have very long trips so the parks closing early shouldn't be a major problem.

Fastpasses are wonderful! We have only one ride that we really use them with. Sometimes we will get them as we get into line so we can just circle around and do it again if it is a ride we really like. I will have to breif her on that if she goes with us.

The one thing I wish somebody would have told me was BRING A SWEATER!!! Those night shows can get very cold. I did tell her to remember comfortable shoes, a big no-no one of my other friends made. She had blisters everywhere.

I was kinda meaning things like the rides or whatever. Would you have liked to see a map of the parks before you went or no? Did you want to know about the ride before you got on it or just wing it? (This is a roller coaster buff!) I was thinking about giving her some information about the rides so she would know which ones she wanted to hit before we got there...but that is kinda impossable..... Any ideas are more then welcome!

Tell your friend about the different parks. Maybe tell her about your favorite rides and how fun they were, to get her excited.

Yeah show her a map thats a good idea so she'll have an idea of whats it gonna be like.

You should show her pictures that you took while you were there, this way she can see how much fun you had. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
