I've not been to WDW since the new FP+ system. I've also not been to WDW in almost 10 years! Based on my dining ressies, my park days are pretty well established, but I'm not sure about these FPs...would you all kindly take a look? We are a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teen boys so we don't really do any characters, and they don't have any interest in FROZEN...crazy, I know! TIA

I would switch your barnstormer FP to something else. If you really want to ride it, you won't need a fastpass. To be honest, though, I wouldn't recommend it for your group at all unless you have some pressing reason to.

I definitely recommend seeing la Nouba. Get category 2 or 3 seats.

I agree with Alesia - I would switch your Barnstomer FP. I equate the Barnstomer with a kiddie roller coaster. Yes it does have a height requirement but mostly you will see young kids with parents riding it.

Thank you Alesia! This is exactly the type of feedback I'm looking for!

Agree with Barnstormer, especially with teen boys. It's a kid ride really, and the wait isn't ever all that terrible. Replace it with Splash Mountain or Possibly a good spot for the Festival of Fantasy Parade. Looks like you are planning on leaving the MK each day you are going prior to that parade though. It's at 3p everyday, and if you like parades it's the best one Disney has right now in my opinion. Everything else looks pretty solid!! Only other potential issue I see if you were planning on being checked into your room prior to heading to the park. I have had very little to no luck at getting in my room prior to actual check-in, which is usually 3p or 4p. There are people that have had luck with it, I just haven't been one of them as of yet. You can leave your bags at the front desk and have them delivered once your room is ready, but some people aren't comfortable with that. Also once your 3rd FP ride window is available you can add a 4th FP at any park, since you will be hopping this could be advantageous for you.

Barnstormer has been switched...but I'm not sure Small World would merit a fast pass or not? We may decide to remain in the parks for the parade(s) but I want to have the option to get out of the heat mid-day. As for check-in...I've done online check in and we will be using the luggage service through DME. Am I understanding correctly that we could leave our carry-ons with the front desk and still be able to access our DDP and get into the parks prior to check in or do I have to wait until we are actually in our rooms before we can enter the parks and/or eat?

With MK opening at 9 I wouldn't think you would need a FP+ for Jungle Cruise. The rope drop crowd will head for SDMT (mostly) so maybe rope drop JC and pick another FP+?

I don't think It's a Small World is worth a fastpass. We always go the first week of June and have never waited more than 10 minutes for it. I would swap it for Splash Mountain or Peter Pan

If you are planning to be there at park openings I would edit my times to after 10am. From 9am-10/1030am we take advantage of people sleeping in and ride popular rides or just fantasyland rides that we don't have a FP for.
This is our usual touring plan. I definitely would not waste a FP on Small World, usually can ride any time without much wait. Splash Mountain would be good or a repeat of a favorite.

Made some additional changes per all of your suggestions! TY!!!:thanks: This trip is rounding out nicely. The boys decided they did not want to do a water park, which I'm fine with, so I added DS to June 8th. At this point I may still leave that afternoon open to enjoy time at the pool or go explore the Boardwalk. Thanks again for all of your suggestions...this trip will be drastically different...no strollers to push!!

You definitely don't need a FP for Small World, but if you want to ride Peter Pan, then I would switch out the Haunted Mansion for Peter Pan. We have never had a problem during a MK day getting on HM with a 20 minute or less wait- the line can be longer, especially in the afternoon, but if you keep an eye on it, you can usually get it with a decent line. Peter Pan, aside from right at opening, is usually at least 30 minutes, and most times somewhere between 60 and 90 minutes. Since Peter Pan and HM are near each other and you are moving on to BMTR. I would try to get Peter Pan around the time frame that you have HM, and then you can ride HM either before or after PP and prior to your BTMR FP. Unless it is a crazy crowded day, I think you should be fine with HM anytime before your BMTR FP kicks in.

In my humble opinion, you don't need the Space or Buzz FP+ if you can rope drop.

We always hit Space and Buzz first thing w/o lines or FP and then head to Splash and BTMRR. I would get FP for Splash and BTMRR for late morning , then you could ride them both twice.

Can anyone tell me if I can leave carry ons with the front desk and head to the parks or do we have to be checked in - rooms ready - before we can access tickets and DDP?

When you complete your online check-in, choose the earliest arrival time. Your tickets and Dining Plan will be activated at that designated time.

So, drop off the carry-ons and head to the parks. :)

I see your missing Soarin from your Epcot day, with teen boys I would go on the single rider line for Test Track and FP Soarin.
