help for first day

My dilema is this...arriving on 4/26 which is a MK EMH night with the next day being a "Grad Night" ( mk closes at 7pm). Do we go to MK on 4/26 and stay for Wishes ( 10pm) or do we make it an early night to bed and do Crystal Palace for early breakfast ADR ( hopefully 8am )? Myself and dd could do both but my sister and niece are not great at getting up early if we're up late. I'd love to be in the park before the rope drop. I am a newbie and haven't been in 20 years, it's also my dd10 and niece's9 first trip. Oh, and my sister is NO help...she wants to just wing it. AHHHH!!! Help please.
