We are traveling to Disneyland in December as my husband is graduating from a Cali college and we have decided to participate in his Graduation ceremony. Our dates for travel are Dec. (13) 14 - Dec (26) 27 with eleven days in the park. I guess my dilemma is how close should we stay near the park. Every time I think I have it figured out I hear "Stay across the street" in my head... this being my dilemma.
I got a terrific rate at Best Western raffles for a 2 bedroom for 1555.00 and it includes breakfast. I figured it is not that far to walk a couple of times for our mm days (Two sets of Parkhoppers - long story), and then take the toy story shuttle for rests etc.
I also have the portofino as an option for 1852.00 closer but no meals.
The Islander is a possibility at 1926.81
The Del Sol is across the street and the kids suite (2 queens & bunk beds) is 1535.00 including parking, safe, tax and has a small bkfst.
If it helps - 2 Adults, and all girls 17, 15, 11 and 7 (will be turning 8 on our trip).
Originally we were going to do the beginning of our trip in Buena Park close to DH's graduation but I think it might be more of a hassle. Most of the Hotels directly across the street are over $2,000.
Oldest DD is graduating HS and I have a feeling this is the last family trip we have all together.
All perspectives welcome ... I know 11 days may seem like a long time however we did 6 last trip and missed quite a bit plus this is most likely our last trip as a family since my eldest is
