Help for a Neurotic Bride

Hey everyone -

I think you have all been there before!! I'm freaking out!

I would like to get married on October 13, 2007 at the Wedding Pavillion at 7:30pm. I'm sure many others have the same idea that I do! I want to keep that date, but I am willing to have the ceremony somewhere else if need be.

I have already been "penciled in" for that date but what else can I do? I am really not open to any other date, due to many factors. But I am open to open locations.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm sorry, I'm neurotic!!!

If that is the date and time you are interested in then there isn't much else you can do. I would keep looking at other locations and establish your backups in the order you prefer. Until the contract is signed anyone can be penciled in for the same day and time and you will go into a lottery if someone else is interested. There isn't much that can be done to avoid the lottery. There are so many locations and times that you may not have any trouble at all! I hope you get your first choice!

well you are almost at the 12month mark. So, you should have nothing to worry about. You can keep the wedding pavilion but just choose a venue for the reception that allows you to book one year in advance instead of 8 months.

No worries - you will get your date and time.

Do you really think so? I feel like I will have an ulcer by the time I find out about the location!

We wanted to Grand Floridian but I am told they cannot confirm until 8 months before the date?!?! Does anyone know which places can confirm sooner?

Like I said, I am way too much of a planner for these scenarios!

I think in park locations and California Grill can be confirmed at 12 months. I think all of the ballrooms wait until 8 months because brides are second class citizens to conventions.

Skylarrs right - ballrooms are 8 months out - i got to about 8 months and 2 weeks and then along came a convention and bumped me out of the YC!!

If you choose an in park location - like epcots living seas you can sign at 12 months out - i think the cali grill and ariels may be 12 months too but im not sure!

Atlantic Dance Hall is also a "12 month" booking - if you are a large group it's very pretty. I was told for less than 60 or 70 guests they don't recommend it. HTH

I know how fustrating it can be! i know i was! Im sure you will be fine, as your flexible in location their shouldnt be a problem!
