Help for a little something extra at the reception cant think of anything!

How about Characters? Do you already have them? I think 2 characters would make up for that amount.

disprincessatheart- I just sent my planner an e mail about the bridal breakfast. Great idea! She must be going crazy I feel like I send her a million e mails a day!

DisneyBrideToni-I think I ruled out characters. Good idea though!

one more idea just popped into my head - how about the photobooth rental you can do? It's definitely interactive!

I think the photobooth is an awesome idea...it may sound "circus-y", but it actually makes the BEST pics for memories! :)

My suggestion wout be to add music...like a violinist or harpist to your pre-reception or reception. If you already have that, upgrade to a trio! :) That would keep it simple and classy...no circus or characters :)

This is not for everyone, but in addition to Disney characters, they have a variety of other entertainers, like the Uninvited Guests and the Tacky Tourists. These cost $1,100-$1,300 and are pairs of actors who show up and interact with your guests - and the Tacky Tourists share Disney info and trivia.

There's also the English Butler and the Major Domo, who can be worked into both the ceremony and the reception, but they're only $650 a piece. Oh - or you could have two herald trumpeters announce your arrival - that's $1,100.

But, like I said, not for everyone...

I think the breakfast is a good idea. It will make your special day seem even longer!

Some other suggestions...Maybe you could add ice cream to your cake... or if everyone is staying on Disney property, you could have milk and cookies delivered to their rooms at the end of the night as a thank you. People are usually hungry again at the end of the night, especially after dancing! Or you could add finger foods in at midnight or something.

disprincessatheart-Great Idea I know sunshine1 had one but I think you have to use an outside vendor and it wont count towards your minimum.

lurkyloo-these are all great ideas but they are just not me.

Disneybride2386-I love the milk and cookies idea I think thats a great idea! Did you do this? Do you know someone that has done this or how much it costs?

Have you added a sorbet course in an ice sculpture to your menu?

How about confetti canons for your last dance?

Cinderella Slipper dessert?

I read your post so quickly that I thought I read sorbet cannon. I was going to disagree because I thought it would be too messy.

Unfortunately I don't have any pricing info.:confused3 I just thought it would be a nice idea. Ask your planner, I'm sure Disney could do it, and you could make a card that says something about a midnight snack as a thank you for sharing in your special day.

Good luck, and let me know what Disney says if you ask them about it!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :worship: :worship: Thats great! Although a sorbet fountain sounds like lots of fun in the middle of July I think my family wouldnt like it lol!

WithDisneySpirit-I would ask sunshine1 she had one. I have no idea how much it costs.

What about extra decor? I know you said you have lots of florals, but what about an entrance? or marble columns? We are having a lighted fountain in front of the head table with extra florals in it, for about 800 for the fountain and 300 for blue and white roses for it. There is also the tulle and twinkle lights on the ceiling. I had a hard time with this too, but when I heard they had cherry blossom, I was like "THATS IT!!!". But I dont think they would go with all red roses.

I don't know if this idea was mentioned yet... I think so, but I'll add it to make sure. I think a photobooth at your wedding is an awesome idea! It gives everyone a chance to be goofy and create memories that they can make into pics and take home with them! It might not be your thing, but it sounds like a lot of fun!

Your wedding sounds beautiful so far! You'll have a great time whether you add anything or not...

Also, the bridal tea or breakfast sounds like a lot of fun too! I'm having one the day before at the Grand Floridian.

I don't know if you're serving wine, but you could upgrade the wine/champage to help boost your spending.

I'm a big fan of the idea of a jazz trio during the cocktail hour. That would bring you to your minimum right there, I think.
