Staying AOA October 13-20th. Originally thought we would make arrival day our water park day. MIL wants Spirit of Aloha so I figured I'd add that to our arrival day since water parks close early but reading others it might be too much (along will be DD6, DD8, DH, MIL, FIL & me). I have 2 Epcot days planned- but perhaps we should try to do it in one? This is my original plan:

October 13th plane arrives 1105 (200 AOA)
-water park & Spirit of Aloha 815 (should we skip /just have in laws go- they really want to!)

October 14th-Epcot
1200 San Angel Inn
...the plan was to just do WS+ test track

October 15th- MK+MNSSHP
BOG-11:10am
(Hoped to go for a bit in the am, go back to AOA to rest then back to MK for party)

October 16th- HS
Sci-Fi-11:40

October 17th-AK
Tusker House- 11:40

October 18th-MK
BBB @ 8:00
CRT 530

October 19th-Epcot
Coral Reef- 11:40

October 20th-Downtown Disney
T Rex-12pm
ME- 6ish for 9pm flight

Ugh! Help! Thank you!!

We have done the water parks a lot, but we don't usually spend the whole day there. Maybe you could do 1 1/2 days at Epcot, and do a half day at a water park.

Would you use you 1/2 day for FW or WS?

Planning park days is easier than WP days. We usually leave a few gaps in our schedule when we go so that we only go to the water park when the weather is guaranteed to be hot. That being said, cut the in-laws loose and let them do their own thing the first night so you and the kids can do the water park right away and then not having to stress about squeezing it in again

I like the choices you have for what parks you are going to on what days, wouldn't change any of those.

Water parks close at 5pm, so you would theoretically have time to get to Polynesian by 8pm. But that sounds like a rushed day if you are not renting a car and counting on ME and Disney bus. I'd be more concerned with the kids at a late-ish dinner and not getting back to AOA until 10pm after long travel arrival day. If you're doing Aloha, might be better to just hang out at pool for afternoon.

Half day at a water park has always been enough for me. HS with fewest rides gets my vote for best candidate for half day. On our last trip, 7yo niece was not going on RnRC/ToT/ST, she was done by noon so Mom took her back to the pool. I would pencil in water park for the afternoon after you do HS in the morning, then wing it based on weather. If weather no good that day, you could always hit water park afternoon of AK day or your second Epcot day. But your HS day is after MNSSHP, people might be tired.

Another idea, if your return flight is at 9pm, you have that whole day. You could do water park in the morning then do a later meal at T-Rex, but then you have to worry about slow buses and wet bathing suits. Or another possibility, do T-Rex for dinner on either the HS/AK day. Then on your last day you could have more time at the water park and not have to rush to get back for ME.

You could put Aloha on your AK day, but you do have an early MK the day after, so that might not be a good idea.

My problem with doing the water park on your arrival day is the time. By the time you get there, you're only going to have a couple hours. I think I would leave Aloha on your arrival day, and spend the time before exploring your resort, maybe some pool time, so you're rested from travel.

I see you have a lunch BoG on the 15th. If you can let that go, that day would be a good water park day. Use the morning for the water park and be at MK at 4:00 to get in a few rides before the party begins.

As others have said, you can also combine the water park with one of your EP days. I think I would do it with my second EP day. You'll know then what you want to do at EP.

By the way, with Aloha added in, you're over on your TS credits. You may want to cut some of your other ADRs or decide which will be OOP. Sci-Fi and TRex will probably be your cheaper options. You can mix up DDP/OOP. Have one or two adults use DDP and the others pay OOP at the same a la carte meals. You can then share the desserts.

You guys are amazing! This gives me something to work with! Thank you!!!

We always do a WP then a dinner show. Leave the WP at three and hit HDD or SOA at 6ish or 8ish. Plenty of time to get into your tropical shirt or hillbilly plaid.

Do you plan on full days on your HS/AK days? Or half days? Could do the show either one of those evenings.

Move your second Epcot day & ADR to the evening with the waterpark in the morning.
