As WDW veterans, this is the first trip for our family to DLR for our family of 4 (DS9, DS4). We will be arriving at SNA about 10:30 on the Wednesday prior to Memorial day and have the first flight out on Monday morning. We are staying off-site at the new Homewood Suites by the convention center.

For a loose plan, we'd like to include the following:

- Walk in Walt's footsteps (9 year old loves Disney history)
- PCH character meal (4 year old loves Stitch)
- Day at the Beach (will likely rent a room in Hunington Beach to get access to pool and have a room to rest during the day).

We will have 5 day park-hoppers, and my DS9 would also like to maximize RSR as it's not at WDW and he loves test track.

Right now, I'm loosely planning on scheduling as follows, but I'd like any input if people see anything they'd change.

- Wednesday evening - Check out DL for the first time, grap a few FP rides and take it in
- Thursday - Morning at DCA to avoid early magic hours
- Friday - 8AM open at DL, and footsteps of Walt at 9:30 (I'd like to do the noon tour, but I worry people will be too tired), might change
- Saturday - Beach day, however DS9 and I might go for RD at DCA for a couple hours in the morning while DW and DS4 rest.
- Sunday - DL RD with character meal abt 10:50 at PCH.

I guess my big question is I'd like to do the tour earlier in the trip to hear the history before the last day, or I'd switch PCH and the tour.

Which day do you plan to use your Magic Morning (early entry) at Disneyland that you get with your multi-day parkhopper? Thursday or Saturday or do you not plan to utilize it?

Likely either not use it, or use it Saturday if DS9 would rather go to DL for a few hours than DCA.

I know it's super useful, but using it causes issues. If we use it on Thursday the only day we could reasonably RD DCA would be Saturday, and I think that is the day the family will be ready for a break, and it's pretty far into the trip to have the first DCA RD day. I guess it would be possible to use Magic Morning on Thursday (as it should be 8AM instead of 7, and do Footsteps of Walt that day, then Beach on Friday and DCA RD Saturday.

Why not do the meal at PCH on Saturday morning before the beach day? Also, is the 4 year old going to have the desire or stamina for the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour?
