Help...first time switching

Hi we are arriving at 11:30-midnight on Dec 6 at the all star sports. The next day we are transferring to POR. I know this has been asked before and tried to search but couldn't find it. Will it be a problem checking in so late? Also Disney will transfer my luggage right? So I just move myseld using Disney transport? We are NOT renting a car! Help if you have done this before!

If you are worried about their ability, you could take a cab. Much better than trying to get stuff on busses with transfers etc. I've never switched, but from what I read on this board, its no big deal.

I'm doing the same thing you are, arriving late (11:30-midnight) and staying at ASMu. The next morning we are moving to the Beach Club. I plan on taking a taxi from ASMu to the BC, so when we get to the BC we can check our luggage, check-in, and then go over to Epcot.

Disney will move your luggage for you, but it takes them awhile. You may not see it at the new resort until 3 or 4. So if you need something in the luggage that day, you may need to take your stuff with you.

If there are things you need maybe you could pack them into a carryon bag to bring with you and let them move the rest of the stuff???
