Help finding a cheap but nice hotel in FL

We have a credit with Allegiant Air that needs to be used up by the end of August. I thought about my DH and son using it and going to Orlando, but not Disney this time- just some get away time for the two of them. I was loooking for a recommendation of a nice but inexpensive hotel for them to stay at. I was on a site that had rooms for $19 and $20, but didnt know about the hotels. They list the Wynfield Inn, Howard Johnson of Kisimee, and the Howard Johnson Enchanted Land at these prices. Anyone ever stayed there or heard any reviews? Any other suggestions? Thanks

I don't know about those hotels. That price justs sounds like a to good to be true sort of thing.

Dreams travel that owns the site has had some really good pricely lately. You might want to submit a quote from them and see what they have. They do other area hotels...not all Disney property.

That way you would know it is a nice hotel.

They offer some good deals for Orlando hotels for last minute reservations.
Also - check expedia.com and mousesavers.com

Just a caution - My DH and I stayed at a "cheap" hotel on Rt 192 many years ago - and I will never again stay cheap.(make sure you know what's next door to the hotel!) Now, if I can get a bargain, that's a different story.

Use Priceline and bid on a high star quality and get a great place for next to nothing. ANY 4* is going to be better than a Howard Johnsons
