Help!! Entertainment rate and HIFS..

I want to try to book a kid's suite at HIFS for the first 2 weeks of December with the Entertainment rate of $73 per night but I can't figure out how to do it!!

If I buy an E book NOW, the card expires on November 30th.. But we're planning on leaving for Florida on December 1st - which means I wouldn't have time to get the NEW book to use the card for check-in..

Can someone tell me how this can be done?

How did you get such a great rate. I was quoted 82.00 with the entertainment rate for 2nd week in November...

i don't know if you know this but travelers advantage offers an entertainment card as well. This is a sort of club that you join and pay a fee it was 79 dollars with the first 90 days free. not only do you get an entertainment card but you also get one hotel night free in a listed hotel. The entertainment card is valid for one full year from the date of purchase. If you want to find out more go to aol keyword TA or Travelers Advantage with this card you won't have that problem of interuptions between cards. however you do not get the coupon booklet. Only the card . And if you book through them you get i think it is a 5% rebate on hotel and airline bookings.

I can't remember how I originally found that rate, but after I did, I went to their web site and emailed them. The only time they wouldn't offer that rate was Thanksgiving weekend..

Let me check around and see if I can find out where I got the info from..........

You will have to purchase the 2004 book at the regular rate. You should get the new one before the old one expires. I would contact Entertainment to verify if I were you.

The rate is different because it is a different time of year. Look at the rack rates on the HIFS website and take 50% off of that - that is the Entertainment rate.

The new entertainment books usually go on-sale in September. I know because our school sells them as a fundraiser within the first month on school. Perhaps if you email them they can give you more info. on when they will go on sale.

I think the ET book rate depends on when you go because we have a rate of $76.00 for January. I called the number on the website and was originally told it was $145.00. I asked about the ET rate and she came back with $76.00.

Our books are sold a few months ahead of time by many schools and churches so I don't think you will have a problem getting one.
