Help - Ebay problem

Hi Everyone: I just made my first ebay sale and sent the invoice through ebay. When the buyer tried to add the optional insurance adn then proceed it would disappear. If I send her a new invoice through Paypal will this work? Or will there be 2 outstanding invoices. I don't understand the process and don't want to screw it up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We seem to contact each other only once per day so that this has been going on for 3 days now - I don't want her to get frustrated with me. Thanks

You can still send her a Paypal invoice, it won't mess anything up. Or she can just go to Paypal and pay with your email address.

The samething happened to me about 3 weeks ago. I included the insurance to my total, but once I got to the next page, it was gone.

So it's just not her. Ebay might have a glitch somewhere in their system.

Thanks for the help. I just sent an invoice using paypal and just used the grand total and put a note that it included shipping and insurance. I don't know if I'll ever sell again - this is nuts! I still have to wait for payment and then go to the post office. Maybe you need to get good at it.

I had the same problem a month ago when I went to buy something and wanted the optional insurance, and it disappeared. I called ebay, explained the problem in detail...and I am so glad to see they have done something about it. I would continue to sell, just include the insurance in shipping if you think the item needs it, and then state that in the description (that it comes with insurance). Good luck.

I had the same problem; however there is a way to get around that one. I simply added the amount of the insurance to the other fee or discount secection of Pay Pal. As a courtesy I let the seller what had happened and how I solved the problem. It worked out great.
