Hubby, 2 boys ages 5&7, and I, are planning a trip to DLP next July for one day. I know nothing about DLP and was wondering is it just the Magic Kingdom park there? I've been to Walt Disney World many times in Orlando but don't know what to expect in Paris. We only have one day cuz we are stopping in paris for a couple days on our way to our Greece vacation. Where do we stay? How much are the tickets? Do they have the same rides as Orlando? Can we do it in one day? What hotels do they have to choose from? Etc, etc....... Also we want to see the Eiffel tower and the Louge while in Paris. Are they all close to each other?
Thanks

Hi Kar and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:

Don't worry you have come to the right place for help :goodvibes

There are two parks at Disneyland Resort Paris. Disneyland Park; larger than Magic Kingdom but with many of the same rides and Walt Disney Studios; which is smaller and has fewer rides than MGM/Disney Studios.

During the summer months it would probably be difficult to do both parks in one day.

For options on staying have a look at the Hotel FAQ sticky which will give you all the on-site options and a number of off-site hotels.

Paris and DLP are about a 45 minute train journey apart :)

A great website regarding what DLP has to offer is dlrpmagic.com :goodvibes

i wouldnt recommned trying to do both parks in one day...basically because i doubt it is possible!! if i were you i would get a ticket for the main park, as it is widely regarded to be much more intricate and 'prettier' than the florida magic kingdom, and here lies some of the resort's finest attractions: space mountain, sleeping beauty's castle, parades and shows etc.

if i were you i would try to get a disney hotel for 1 night and have 2 days to spend there a bit more leisurely. otherwise you run the risk of queueing loads and seeing nothing, as the parks are very busy during the day in july.
