Hi. I was just wondering if DD (3.5) will need a Fast Pass for those rides where she'll not be occupying a seat other guest could be using. For example, in Splash Mtn, she will be riding between DW and me. The same happens with BTMRR, Pooh, Peter Pan, Snow White, etc.

There are attractions, where she must seat by herself (KRR, TSM, Test Track, Soaring) so I'm not asking for those, just for the ones she'll seat "in the middle" :crowded:.

Sorry for asking, but last year she didn't have a Pass, and she wasn't tall enough for some of the big rides.

Thanks as usual for your time and knowledge.

If she is going on the ride she will need a Fast Pass unless you are using the standby line. :wizard:

Last year, she was 2.5, and thus didn't need a ticket for admission to a park ... and if she doesn't have a ticket she can't possibly get a FASTPASS ... and therefore she didn't need one.

But if she's past her 3rd birthday she needs a ticket, and if she's eligible to need a park ticket then she needs a FASTPASS to enter the FP return line.

Don't most of those rides have a 48" minimum? I dont' know how tall a 3.5 year old is but I didn't think they were 4 feet tall...

The only ride in the four parks that I know of that has a 48" minimum height is Primeval Whirl. (Tomorrowland Speedway has a 54" requirement to ride alone.)

Nope. Even rides with a height requirement( only the thrill rides) May have a requirment as low as 40" or as high as 48".

My girls will be 3 and 7 when we go in Aug so they'll both have tickets...however, both won't be riding many of the FP rides.

Our plan is to get the FP's anyway and have those who want to ride twice use it!

But to anwer the question....yes, a FP is needed.

Winnie the Pooh?
Peter Pan?
Buzz Lightyear?
Jungle Cruise?
Splash Mountain?
Soarin'?
Toy Story Mania?
Kilimanjaro Safari?

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is also 48".

Buzz Lightyear is on my list.

The rest of these no longer offer FP.

And I would think very carefully before taking a 3 year old (even many 7 year olds) into It's Tough to Be a Bug.

Well since she is 3 she would have a ticket, so I don't understand why she wouldn't have a fast pass along with the rest of the family? To answer your question, I think she is supposed to have a fass pass to enter the fass pass line, unless she is under 3.

I would think that if it were the rides with height restrictions, then yes, she'd have to have one. (I think it's safe to say that any child tall enough to ride those is old enough to have a ticket.)

However, for those listed above, without height restrictions, I wouldnt' think she'd have to have one...lots of kids CAN ride those that aren't old enough to require a ticket.

If a child has a ticket, that child needs a FP to ride a FP attraction.

If that child looks very young, you might get by without needing a FP,
but that would be against policy.

It never hurts to get one using her ticket anyway. Spread the pixie dust and give away the ones you aren't using! I really needed a single FP for Space Mtn 2 weeks ago and didn't get to ride b/c I couldn't get a pass, the lines were ridiculous, and I had my family with me (I was the only one who wanted to ride).

For those maintaining lists, Primeval Whirl may no longer be using Fastpass at all. Its not even on the BDay Fastpass list, and the kiosks were completely covered. It was also mentioned on the times guide that it would not be used (as well as ITTBAB).

Although a CM was printing up Rider Switch passes while I was standing there...they still offer those since it is one of the taller height requirements.
