If the Fantasmic Fireworks begin at 9pm, what is the best time to book the dinner package. I would prefer not to have a long wait between dinner and the show, since we will have an infant with us. But I don't want to rush dinner either to get decent seats. Please help.

I would sugget eating 2.5 hours before show. This gives you enough time to eat, and get across park (depending on where you're eating) to Fantasmic. We did this and got decent seats with only about a 20 minute wait.

Last year I called & got a 4:30pm seating. I held it until everyone in my party said it was to early. As we got closer to the date, later times opened. So we had a 6:30 seating at Mama Melrose last year when the show started at 8:00pm.

We were REALLY rushed! In fact, we almost did not make it.

This year we have a 4:30 seating for an 8:00pm show & we are keeping the 4:30pm seating.

If we have extra time after dinner (which I am sure we will), we will go on a ride or do some shopping or whatever. But at least this time we wont be so rushed.

Your pretty much at their mercy when making the ADR. They will not book you too late because they know how much time is necessary.

If it is a 9pm show, is it a second showing? I thought the Dinner Packages where just for the first showing. If it is a second showing, I don't think you need the package.

But whether it is a package or an ADR, I would not schedule for any later than 7pm and 6:30 might be safer in case you are not seated promptly.

Thank you for all the advice. We have a 7pm seating and the fireworks are at 9pm. They have another show at 10:30, but it would be too late for us. I called Disney Dining back and they assured me that they do not book a time that is too late to make the show. And since it is at H & V it is a buffet and there won't be a wait time for the food. So, I decided to keep my 7pm reservation.
