I just got back and I spent the last morning in line for my airline check in and I didn't have time to sneak into the gift shop for a few items that I wanted to ship home. Is it possible to call them directly and order some things over the phone? There was a watch and a snowglobe that I really wanted to get, along with some small items I could do without. I don't have any item numbers but I can describe them. Has anyone ever done this, or have any suggestions as to what I could do? TIA :)

Thank you! I'll give them a call tomorrow and see if they know what I'm describing.

Thanks so much for asking this question!!! We had the same problem on the morning of the 27th. What we thought would be a very quick process ended up being a complete nightmare. We too had planned on hitting the gift shop and buying a few things we had found earlier and letting the kids pick out one last souvenier before we left, but that did not happen thanks the the "magical" express!!!!

Were you at POR? I was in line for over an hour. Looking back I should have just checked in at the airport, but I thought doing it at the resort would be so much faster and easier. I was disappointed to end up spending my last morning in line :sad1:

No, we were at the ASMu. We arrived early, so we could check in and give them our luggage and then go to the giftshop. Well, long story short, we were told that they were not going to be able to take our luggage and we would just have to do everything at the airport, even though we had all ready received luggage tags and boarding passes. After some discussion, I finally accepted this, and headed to the gift shop with my kids, but my Mom came after me and said "wait, now they can take our luggage, they just got a bunch of cages that the luggage goes in". So, I headed back to the line, got in it again, and when I got to the front, the lady started to help me only to be interupted by a very rude CM asking her what she was doing. She then proceeded to tell me that they had made a mistake, and they could not take our bags and we would have to do it ourselves. Then the 2 CM's started arguing over this which didn't make matters any better. So, after a few more rounds of no we can't, yes we can, we ended up having to take our own luggage and check in at the airport. I felt really bad for the bus driver, you could tell he was not used to handling all the bags that he had to. I'm not sure what the problem was, but I'm hoping this isn't how the ME usually runs. Sorry to hear you had problems too. Good luck on finding the merchandise that you wanted!!!

I called merchandising last year when my mickey earrings lost a stone. It did take a while to get them and I think I paid a lot of shipping but to me it was worth it.
