Help!! Did I just Get A Pin Code!!???

I just got a call. It was recorded,not a live person. My caller ID said "Disney". The recording said I have been chosen for a special promotion and gave a 3 digit number. It said to press #1 to take advantage of this . When I pressed 1,I got cut off.
When I tried to call back that number on the caller ID,it said that number was for calling out and does not receive calls.

Now what???
Was that a real call????
I'm at a loss.
Should I call , I don't know,maybe guest relations????
It doesn't seem too far fetched that I might receive a pin,as I needed to enlist the help of a DVC person in order to watch their GF DVC video. It was glitching at my end and took about 10 minutes of their help to get the video to work for me. They said a few times how grateful they were for my patience. So, maybe, this is a real pin???? But how do I find out????

First, I've NEVER heard of them calling with pins. Second, 3 digit codes are usually package codes and not pin codes - those are around 12 numbers long. DVC also doesn't offer pins - they come through Disney Destinations and a DVC reservation isn't eligible to use one.

I'd be leery of this... You can find out if you have a pin by calling Disney and asking them to check for a pin code under your name.

Called guest relations twice and, of course, received two different answers. I'm going with the second "Huh????? Didn't come from here"
I really don't like whoever this came from, having my landline number. Guess being on that Do Not Call List doesn't stop everyone.
Wonder if anyone else out there has experienced this.........they actually referred to themselves as "Disney calling"

The only thing I am thinking is it might have been an offer from DVC. I know for awhile there you could listen to a phone presentation about DVC and they were offering a gift card for your time ( I think it was $25). I've never received a call with that offer, but I have gotten an email that gave me a number to quote to call in and take the "tour". I didn't do it though.

I am wondering if it could be somehow DVC related,only because of the timing.

I didn't think of googling the number, but I will. Thanks for that idea.

Same kind of call happened to me also, my answering machine caught it but cut it off so only got a few seconds..It was kind of weird.
