help deciding on rental car

I am not sure which vehicle i should go with on our trip. We will be staying at St. Pete Beach and also disney world for two nights/three days. i booked a ford escade(small suv) and have an upgrade coupon which would take it to an explorer for 238 dollars for nine days. This is a great price, but with gasoline prices so high, then it might not be such a good thing. I also booked a full size car from thrifty for nine days and the total is 183.00. We have a four year old and a 16 month old. Should we go with the suv or the full size. any suggestions?

For how long you will actually be there, I would go with what give you the greatest amout of convienence. Over the course of the nine days the gas mileage difference won't be that great especially considering the price of the entire trip. Go for what works best.
