I have two small newspaper articles saved on my computer from when I did a project on Disney- they're called "Disney Makes Rapid Strides with Cameras" and "Disney Creates Rare Illusion in Color Film." They're both from the Washington Post in 1937. You might be able to google and find them, but if not, I'd be willing to e-mail them to you if you pm me.

They basically talk about Snow White, and the advanced technology that they used in creating it.

I would suggest Walt Disney, The Triumph of the American Imagination, by Neal Gabler. Written in 2006, it is very comprehensive.

Most of this info is in the various biographies on Walt...I know DS read "The Man Behind the Magic" that was very good, kid friendly and helpful.

I would suggest calling your public library's reference dept. They will steer you to both paper and online sources that will be just what she needs. Don't drive yourself nuts trying to do this yourself when expert researchers are just a phone call or an email away.

(And if your own public library is inadequate, contact the nearest large one. Reference advice is almost always NOT dependent on residency -- we will offer assistance to anyone who asks for it.)

COUNTLESS books, articles and dissertations have been written about Walt Disney and the Disney company over the past 75 years or so. There is no shortage of factual material out there, though a fair amount of the digitized things are going to be behind a paywall. That's where your library is likely to be able to help; as most systems now offer password access to paid databases for their resident users, and interlibrary loan to just about everyone else.

No, we won't do your daughter's homework for her.

Be a parent and teach her to use the resources available to her from the public library.

Did you read the word HELP in the OP? She said she was HELPING her DD not doing it for her...geesh
