Help...Crowd Calendar Thurs or Fri?

I could use your expertise...

I've looked at a few of the crowd calendars for Epcot Memorial Day weekend 2018.

Most calendars state to avoid Thursday (5/24) because of extra magic hours (open 8 am) but the crowds are only ranked a 6/10. Plus tickets are cheaper.

On the flip side, Friday (5/25) is listed as a good day to visit Epcot (because MK has magic hours) but it is considered a peak day ($ tickets) and crowds are ranked an 8/10.

Which is true and/or advice greatly appreciated!!

Disney has the best possible information. If they have Fri as peak and Thurs as regular, I would trust that to be the most telling information.

I think it helps to remember they are giving you the best park for that day, not really which park to visit on which day of that week. Look at each day separately. They are not necessarily comparing Thursday to Friday. But each park separately for just Thursday. They take into account all factors for that Thursday & make the best & worst recommendations for that just day. On Friday, they take all factors into account for that day. So when they take everything about the other parks into account, Epcot gets recommended. You must take their recommendations & use them to plan your park days yourself. Since everybody arrives on different days & stays for differing lengths of time, it lets you use the information to fit your needs.
