Hi!
I am fairly new to scrapbooking so I was hoping to get some input on the Cricut and the Xyron Personal Cutting System. I am looking for a machine that will cut down the number of times I have to go to the local scrapbooking store!! I am looking for both letter and number diecuts as well as the "picture type" diecuts (i.e. suns, flowers, tags etc.).
What are your opinions on these two machines? From what I could tell, the Xyron PCS does more of the picture type diecuts than Cricut does (is this correct?). Also, from reading the boards, they both seem to have their share of "technical" difficulties as well.
Help! Why did you chose the machine you did and do you still love it??
Thanks!

Do you need to buy additional cartridges? Where do you get the images that you mentioned (the product website or can you basically use anything that you can find out on the web)? I know the Cricut and PCS are cheaper but the cartidges can add up so in the long run maybe it is better for me to invest in this one!
it. I havent had any problems with it as all. Its easy to use and I have gotten 3 fonts so far and have gotten them all and the machine for 50% off using coupons. So it is a value as well.
