Like you, after staying at CSR twicw before, I was hesitant when my wife suggested POR,, well after 5 N in DEc 04,, my mind was changed,, we stayed in 1427 ( I think).. the main difference in overall feel was that POR was all shaded and trees while CSR was all open w/ the lake,, I loved the early morning walks and found the rooms as nice but different, the food court was better than CSR's and with some insight, actually felt good about there prices,, we also stayed at AKl del sav and found that place not nearly as enjoyable,,, The bus service was great ( anything earaly dec is better than the summer) and much better than AKL's. Room location could be a huge factor here because the place is HUGE.. Bus service at CSr is also good,, If your thinkingof it-- go ahead,, if you don't like POR than a you have a good reason to go BACK & try CSR
Help.. I have been looking and thinking about adding the dinning plan for when we are at Disney and could not make a dicisson. I have a room only reservation with a AAA rate at CSR. As of yesterday AAA could not get me a package said there was no availabilty the week we are going May 14- May 20th now today she calls and they can switch me to POR as a package and I will get the dining. I believe it is a $150.00 difference compared to what Disney quoted me at! But I would have to give up my room at CSR, can someone shed some light on POR,, where to stay, I want something close to all.. ( he-He) Pool, food and bus stop! How is transportation? Will we like it there? Help... Please...
