So, we are DVC members and have decided to order AP's for our upcoming trip. I understand that I get a $100 discount ( I think), so does this mean that the price for a premium AP of $515 will be $415? How do I go about ordering one for our April trip?? Should I wait until April so the passes do not expire in February? This AP is new to us!!!

Premium AP's are $125 off. The member price is $415.35 including tax for adults. You can order a voucher from the member website or I believe through member services. The year will begin when you activate the voucher at a ticket window. You can also wait until you get there and purchase them at any ticket window. You'll need your member ID and adults (over 18) need photo ID's with the same address as the member. You'll need the same to activate the voucher. The only advantage I can think of to order them in advance is to get the Disney Dining Experience Card. Prices just went up 1/2/05 so there will not be another increase before April.

We can receive $100 off of an AP and $125 off of a PAP. I ordered mine of the website-however we discovered from another poster (much thanks) that there was a computer glich and they hadn't mailed anyone's out because they needed our DVC member # only there was no spot on the website asking for it. So if you do order over the internet, you should really do a follow up call. Can order them whenever you want, because they are not activiated until to get there to activate them. What they will mail you out now are vouchers. I am not going until April, either, but I got a little over excited and ordered them already.

If you have a car you can buy the ticket at Guest Services in Downtown Disney (by World of Toys).

that's where we got ours on the way from the airport. quick and friendly transaction.

Can my Mom who always travels with us get the discount? She lives with us part of the year, but her drivers license has her out of state address? I was hoping to get the discount for her too, since she always goes to WDW with us.

Her driver's license would have to have your address on it.

Where is the best place to get Hoper Passes as a DVC member. Do we get discounts any where?

Disney is only selling the Magic Your Way ticket now. DVC only gets discounts on the AP and PAP.

Maybe I'm paraniod, but I've been thinking of ordering in advace just to ensure that the DVC discount does not end before my trip in Oct.

Yes you are being paranoid, but then again it may be justified ;)

But seriously, the DVC discount is being heavily marketed as a reason to buy into DVC, so there would be an aweful lot of irate new DVC members if they were to do away with it less than 1 yr into the program. I say that the DVC discount on APs still being around in October is a pretty sure bet. Don;t worry; be happy. Heck, the Red Sox won the series, so maybe our luck is changing :bitelip:
