Help-confused about closures in June

I bet Remember Dreams Come True will be performed one last weekend June 5,6,7......at least that is my saving hope. That could make it very crowded for people in SoCal that want to see it before it goes away!!!:scared:

Hi,
Well Fantasmic won't be shown until June 12. I believe the fireworks show will continue to be shown every weekend until June 12th when the new one will be shown every day. You see the fireworks show doesn't take long to set up. The set the fireworks "pots" up every evening backstage behind toon town and take them down after the show. I was lucky enough once to see it all happen.

The schedule for June 4 is up, but that's the latest right now on the website. The Celebrate parade is at 7 pm, but there is no mention of the Pixar parade. I am thinking maybe it is not shown that day since CA closes early for Grad Night? I am hoping that the June 5-7 schedule will be out soon...I am nervous about the fireworks since the new fireworks show that weekend since the new show, Fantasmic, and Electrical Parade start June 12.

But there are no fireworks on the schedule for Friday June 5. Will the fireworks be added later or is it likely that there won't be any fireworks for the weekend of June 5-7 since the new fireworks show will start the following weekend (June 12)? I hoped to see RDCT on the schedule for June 5 but no luck.

I hope the fireworks are up and running by June 12. The 13th is our last night there and I would love to see them!

Oh- and I am in SO. Cal and my kids last day of school is May 21!(coming up soon!!)

I know they don't update everything on the entertainment schedule until the whole month comes out. I've noticed that Billy Hill is not on the schedule either for many of the days in that first week of june.

Mike, I remember someone (it may even be on this thread, but I'm at the library and only have 8 minutes left on my time, so I don't have time to check) that they'd called for hours and were given the hours for everything except fireworks, which the CM said would be scheduled later.

Seriously, I am to the point of considering whether I should take a chance on Disney offering some deals for WDW this November/December or going on with this trip.

I wish I could take advantage of the new deal for August/September. They're offering a trip that is one day less than the one we did last summer for $300 less than what I paid then...but this time you get free dining.

My family doesn't do a lot of the big rides. Last year was the first time either of my boys wanted to do a coaster. This year I think I'm going to get them both on Splash Mountain. Depending on how that goes I may be able to talk them into the Matterhorn and Space Mountain. Maybe, maybe not.

For us, the shows, parades, and fireworks are half the thrill of the trip. I was already sad that the Snow White show we saw last time has been replaced by a princesses meet-and-greet (my boys would rather eat live wasps than do that :rotfl:), but now the prospect of all these things being down, well...

I checked Southwest and it would cost me $300 more to fly to Orlando. BUT, they're having this 4 day sale right now. I'm going to keep checking. If they put Orlando up on one of the days, I guess I'll switch and then see what I can work out there.

I really can't imagine them not doing the fireworks on that weekend. Again my guess is that you will see a full slate of entertainment from thurs - sunday but it will be minus fantasmic!, electrical parade, and the new firework show. I'm still willing to be on RDCT on our weekend.

If you feel better about WDW then you should go for it but me and my family we still love disneyland more. We are staying at the dl hotel this time which will give us something new, we are going to do the walk in walt's footsteps tour, and we get to see Sleepy's castle and IASM. Can you believe the last two times we went to DL that IASM was closed?!!!? Plus for us we are visiting Monterey, SF, and Yosemite on this vacation.

As we approach the end of April and tomorrow being May 1st I am hoping that the June "full calendar" comes up and we see some love for the first week of june people.

Sorry I had to post this in this thread too....

:yay::dance3::cool1::banana::cheer2: Thank Goodness! I was really feeling for all of you going in early June. It sucks when you're trying to plan a trip and there's no info about what's showing. Even worse with all the cutbacks. I hope they have all the shows up and running at least during some parts of your stay!:goodvibes
