Help compare: the moderates.....

I have stayed at Coronado Springs and liked it alot, except for maybe it's spread out-ness. How do the other moderates compare (rooms, onsite restaurants and feature pool)??

Personnally, of the moderates, I've always liked POR-R best. It's a beautiful resort and has a pretty good food court and nice resturuant (Boatwrights). Bus service was always decent as well and you can use both the pools at POR-R or the Pool at POFQ as they are sister resorts. I've been to CBR once but still preferred POR-R however, that was before the recent rehab.

Last may when we stayed at CBR and even though we loved it, I felt it was too spread out.

However, at CBR , if you are in Martinique or Trinidad North, you are close to everything. The main pool and food court are right next to each other. Each village has a quiet pool and bus stop.All in all, a beautiful resort wth a great "tropical feel". We were in Trinidad north. It was very lovely , quiet, and a short walk to the pool.etc.

CBR feel somewhat like Coronado Springs as it is spread out around a lake to and the lake is bigger but there is and island in the middle of the lake with bridges over it so you don't have to go all the way around. The rooms are bigger than Coronado Springs and about as colorful. There are more pools and bus stops at CBR.
POR is a similar size as CS and CBR but there is no lake, just the river and there are a few bridges over the river so it is easy to get around. There are alot more trees here than the other resorts to. The Alligator bayou is in a forest and it is easy to get lost in here. The Mansion homes have more formal gardens and a balanced layout. The rooms are the same size as CS with the Alligator Bayou rooms being somewhat rustic and the Mansion Homes more formal.
POFQ is not like all the others in that it is layed out in right angles like a small town. The walkways are like brick streets and have street names. There are lots of trees and gardens here and it is more than half the size of the other resorts because it dosn't have a lake or river in the middle of it though it is along the side of the river. The rooms are subdued but formal and the same size as CS.

Hi, we stayed at CBR in 2001 and CSR in 2002. We much prefer CBR. Although I liked CSR, to me, CBR was better in many ways. The rooms are larger at CBR and more colourful. CBR has two sinks and nicer quiet pools. I love Parrot Cay and all the calipso music! Watching Illuminations fireworks from CBR is awesome!

I would like to stay at POR Mansion's just to bang off the mods. S

If you like a smaller, quiet resort witha hot tub.....short walking distance from any room to anywhere and having the bus pick up and drop you of first then PO-FQ is the resort. The only bad thing is they do not have sit down resturant anymore. You can use PO-R for that.
