Help--Code attached to your name

I often read about people asking and there being a “code” attached to their mane. I have called twice and not only is there no code attached to my name but the people on the phone behave as if I am crazy and just pulled this “code” idea out of thin air. Am I using the wrong lingo—help me understand what I am doing wrong.

I usually don't have a "code" either...I've read that ordering the planning video might do it.
You are using the right word.....I call sometimes to ask if there are any
codes in my name.....I might use the word "pincode".

You can also try asking if there are any discounts or promotions associated with your name.Don't take it personally many of the cms don't know much and those that do sometimes get snarky.

A friend of mine received the a 40% off code via email. So I called and told the CM that I had a friend who had received the 40% off code and that we fully understood that they could not share the code because it was for them only and not a public code. I then asked her how I go about becoming eligible for receiving such discount codes. She did some checking to make sure that my all of my contact info was up-to-date and then proceeded to tell me that I did in fact have the 40% off code attached to my name. I told her to book it.

BTW: This was my second call within one week. The first call was made prior to my friend getting the discount. I had asked the CM about a code attached to my name and was told there was none. However, I also changed check in date (by one day) so that it was during the time the code was actually being offered.
