Help choosing resturants!

I am planning my April trip. I will be onthe DDP, and will be with my DW, DS (13) & DS (9). I have a couple of choices that I need to make.

First:
I am looking over the resturants in the Epcot area. I have decided on 3, and I am only planning on having 2 dinners there. So, I'd like suggestions on which one to leave out.

Cape May Cafe
Teppen Edo
Coral Reef

Next, I want to eat in Hollywood Studios at either Hollywood & Vine or Mama Melrose.

Any suggestions/reccomendations?

If I were choosing, I would leave out Cape May Cafe, if for no other reason than I think you will enjoy the atmosphere at Coral Reef more. I have not eaten at Teppen Edo, but look forward to doing so because I hear it's a lot of fun.

At Hollywood, I have only eaten TS at Mama Melrose. It was fine. I have heard better things about Brown Derby, and many think Sci-Fi is fun.

Just my opinion, but I'd say leave out Teppen Edo. Also, I would eat at Mama Melrose! We loved it there our past trip and are going back again. We tried Hollywood & Vine a few trips back and wasn't impressed.

If you are lucky enough to sit next to the aquriam coral reef is okay. The food is not great. Make sure you eat at Jiko it's the best restaurant on property by far.

If you really want to eat at CR, make an ADR for the last seating at lunch (I did that when I had an AP for the discount) or lasting seating in the evening and have dessert. It would be OOP, but it's a great compromise.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Teppan Edo this past December, maybe even my favorite meal. We also enjoyed Coral Reef on our 4/07 trip. Have eaten at Cape May Cafe, and it was okay, but my least favorite of the three. Mama Melroses gets poor reviews, but we have enjoed a diiner there in the past also. So I would drop Cape May Cafe. Enjoy!

As for Hollywood Studios, we would do Mama Melrose--we have always had good meals there. We totally did not enjoy our two times at Hollywood & Vine. You will get differing views on both, so the choice will come down to what you think your kids will enjoy more.

Surprisingly, we really enjoyed H&V. I reccomend it!
