I really like Poly in the summer. Look into booking a cabana for the day at the Oasis pool. It will get you lots of comfortable seating in the shade. The pool is shallow and chill. We use a car service with a grocery stop and pick up snacks, water and drinks so we brought food and drinks from our room in a nearby building, and ordered a lapulapu from the pool bar. You can book half or whole days.

We also liked watching the MK fireworks from the beach. You can monorail to visit CR and GF.

I think BWI is also a good choice. There’s a lot of activity on the Boardwalk that might interest the teens. Y’all could also easily walk over towards Epcot and utilize the skyliners to check it out and even visit the skyliner resorts. I also like the quiet pool at BWI. I imagine both CL’s are fine, and will allow you to bring food down to the pool area as well. We go to parks daily but usually just for 3 hours or less. Resort time is much more relaxing especially when the weather is warm and the parks crowded and crazy. During winter trips we tend to linger a bit longer in the parks to enjoy holiday decorations and events.

Your trip sounds wonderful! Enjoy!
I totally agree! We usually go in February or April, and we spend all our time at the parks. July was the only month that worked for us this time and we all just want to relax by a pool, get pampered with good food, and resort hop 😊

I would opt for AKL. Two resorts of Jamba and Kidani to explore, more table/QS choices with, best gift shop, cultural tours as well as Starlight Safari evening tours, full page resort activities instead of quarter page calendar, firepit story-telling as well as movies, lots of areas inside and out with rocking chairs to sit and view animals, animals moving around changes the scenery so the view does not get old.

With the age of the kids I'd pick Yacht which isn't on your list. Stormalong Bay will be great for pool days and you have plenty of areas to walk around.

We love the BWI CL, one of our favorites - and our kids are teenagers and in their 20s. We love the CMs there - we find them so friendly. We love the nightlife on the boardwalk. But we also love the Poly CL and everything around the resort. We love sitting on the beach and watching the fireworks with the music piped in. We love the pools at both of these resorts.

We do enjoy the AKL CL but we do the Savannah view - we love watching the animals. For the age of your girls I would say the BWI or the Poly. Enjoy.
