Help catch me up on the CBS soaps!

I haven't watched CBS soaps since, geez... last spring maybe! I turned them on yesterday and was going, "Who? Huh?"

Guiding Light -- last I saw Reva was "dying" (again) and Josh and Cassie were getting friendly, much to my dismay. Now it seems they're a couple? And what's this with Olivia and Jeffrey having a child, Ava? HUH?

ATWT -- totally lost here. What's going on?

Y&R -- Okay, Phyllis is in an elevator with Jack and she's in labor. Alrighty. Whose baby is it? Sharon's with Brad? Huh?

B&B -- Nick's crazy or something? Why?

Would someone care to give me the Reader's Digest version?

Well, I can only comment on Y&R: Phyllis' baby is supposedly Nick's (whom she had an affair with, then he got divorced from Sharon) Nick & Phyllis are not legally married in Wisconsin (where GC is of course) but had a little ceremony in another state, as you have to wait 6 months before re-marrying in WI. If they waited, the baby would have already came. Only Nick saw the written results of the paternity test, as the baby could have been either Nick or Jack's.
Sharon & Brad are not really together - Brad married Victoria, but immediately before the wedding Brad told Sharon he loved her, and she (finally) said she loved him too, but he chose to marry Victoria. This was the same time as Nick's affair w/Phyllis, which started the night of Michael & Lauren's wedding: Nick & Phyllis had too much to drink at the reception, then he drove her home, etc., etc. Sharon & Brad did sleep together one time when they were on seperate business trips to NY. Victoria does not know about that. They are still very close friends, and have chosen to remain friends and not go any further anymore. Sharon is dating Jack now. What a stupid decision, IMO. I always liked Sharon & Brad together - just my two cents. Hope this makes sense!
