We had originally planned to stay at the BWPPI because it's so close, but I can book the Paradise Pier for about $50 more per night. We haven't stayed at either hotel before and I can't decide. Last year we stayed at the DLH and then at HOJO's, and both were a bit of a walk with our kids. I know there's a shortcut through the GC from the PP, but it seems like the Best Western is still quite a bit closer. They don't have those cute little Mickey ear shampoos there though LOL.

I love Paradise Pier! The deco is so cute (beach theme) and you just feel like you are at Disney!

Honestly the walk is not bad at all, just cross the street and cut through the Grand. It might be a tad bit farther than the BWPPI, but not much!

For $50 a night extra, I personally would take the PPH!!!

I am contemplating the same thing and have reservations at both!!! But for me its about 150 more a night to stay at PP! Tough decision!!!

We are staying at Paradise Pier for the first time in a few weeks. Can't wait! Will you be there enough days to take advantage of a couple magic mornings? I think staying onsite definitely has some benefits that you can't get off site, and for only a $50 per night difference, we would likely choose to stay on sight :)

Were you planning on taking advantage of the breakfast at the BWPPI? That will be an added expense if that was going to be your breakfast. Also, will you be at the parks all day or come back and spend time in you room?

We'll be staying for 4 nights with 3 days in the parks. We'll do Carnation Cafe one morning and do a character breakfast one morning, so we would only be using the breakfast at BWPPI for two days max. I think park hours will only be 10-8 when we go, so we won't be taking any room breaks. :)

We just stayed at PP this week. For us, the pool made it worth it. It was such a nice break and the kids LOVED the waterslide.

If you could get an extra magic morning day, with the park opening late, I would go for PP. The Dobies luuuuuuuuuuuuv PPH.

I would go for PPH, considering it's only $50 extra a night i think it's worth it since staying onsite is such a magical experience :goodvibes

I think you should go for the PPH. You aren't trekking to the room midday and the difference in distance is minimal anyways. You aren't relying on the free breakfast to save you money, so if you can afford an extra $200, go for the extra magic! As Dobie said, it'll get you an extra MM!
