Is $50 a day enough money for food for me and my 9 yr old DD.
I have looked at menus and still not 100% sure it is. We will be eating mostly counter srevice and two meals a day with some snacks. I will aslo be bring snacks and some breakfast foods.
What do you think.

I would think that would be fine - unless you are both awfully big eaters! The meals at most of the counter service restaurants are pretty big - many of them are easily large enough to split between the two of you.

My last few trips have been by myself and I averaged around $20 - 25 per day for food (I had one full service meal at Le Cellier so that raised the average) (and I am, sadly, a big eater!)

Depending on when you are going, the most expensive "food" item is bottled water. I usually go to Walmart and pick up water there - it saves a huge amount.

Up until this last year our daily average was $50/day for one adult and two kids. This included a couple of character meals and at least one sit down meal as well. Now that the kids are eating more (9 and 12) I have upped our budget to $75/day.

Our last trip in Jan., we spent on average at the parks $25 per meal. That was for 5 of us. Two adults, DD10, DD8, and DS7. I shared with DD10, and DD8 and DS7 shared their meals. We usually would get one large pop (huge actually) and a glass of water with our meal. We never were hungry.
