Help! This is my first time booking my own flight. Always had a travel agent. We are flying out of Baltimore on Dec. 6 and leaving orlando on the 13th. 4 adults and 3 kids. Do I book now? Wait? Go through airline or a place like travelocity? I have been on lots of sites looking around. Most airline sites won't let me put in those dates yet. But travelocity, etc. will. I am so confused. Just want the best price. Any help would be great. Thanks ::MinnieMo

Do you have an airline you perfer to use? Some airlines aren't booking internet fares for Dec yet. If you are looking for a good deal there are a few things you can do to help yourself.

1) Go to your favorite airlines and sign up for their sales e-letter.
2) I'm using SouthWest new download program "DING" that will notify you while you are on line about specials to various locations. These specials only last a few hours and sell out fast. You may need to be a little flexiable on A or D time but you can save a boat load. We recently purchased 4 round trip tickets at $49 o/w for our trip in May. I'm looking for cheap tickets again for Mousefest in December.
3) Check this board often. Normally someone will post about a good sale.

I'm sure that someone will add other helpful hints. Good Luck finding a great price.

I do not have a preferred airline, just a good price. Thanks for the advice. I am signing up for DING now.

You are right, it is SW for "DING". We are flying SW in May. I also have tickets flying AIRTRANS for another trip. I'll make the correction to my post. Thank you.
