Hi All,

We my little family (Wife, Daughter (3) and Son (4mos), will be staying in a BLT Lakeview Studio next week. I was going to call the BLT to make any room requests this week and was hoping for some recommendations as to where we should request a room?

I've heard that some people prefer higher floors and odd numbers for a chance to see the fireworks? Is that correct?

Any other requests we should make at this time? This will be our first time staying at BLT.

Thanks in advance

Hi! We have stayed at BLT twice and love it! Walking distance to MK and of course it's a monorail resort. When we stayed we got lucky both times with views of MK! Dh is the one who makes the reservations so idk what he told them. One thing I will say (since you have small kids) is maybe tell them you want to be kind of close to the elevators. Our second trip there we were the very last room and it's such a far walk. Especially carrying a baby or after a full day of walking. Have a fun trip:)

Ask for a high floor 06 or 08 room. When you arrive, if that's not the room you get, ask them again. Tell them you want to see the park, if possible. You may have to wait for a room. But if you are willing to work with them they might be able to accommodate you. Good luck!

BLT Rooms and Views

Thanks for the replies.

I will definitely ask for MK views.

What is the significant of 06 and 08 rooms and what would you consider a higher level? Ie how many floors are there and what is optimal?

I'll check out the other post.

Thanks so much!

06 and 08 are Lake view studios on the north,on the outside of the curve of the building. Those studios offer the best partial MK views. There are studios up to the 14th floor. Lake view starts on the 6th floor. Of course the higher you are, the better the view. Those rooms are also near the loading dock, so you'd be further from that noise if you are higher up.
Another room to consider is a room ending in 14. I would never request that room because it is handicap accessible, but I was offered it my last trip. Also a great view and close to the elevator. But also close to the service elevator. So if you come back to the room during the day you may hear a little banging around.
