Help....BC, YC or BW??

we've stayed at POR twice, and CR once, but we would like to stay in the Epcot area this time. i can't decide between BC, YC or BW....this is for 6/30-7/7 and the pricing is the same for all resorts. we have 3 kids, 16, 14 & 12 (although 16 yr old is autistic, so not really "16") anyway, i would love some opinions on which resort! also, is one closer to epcot &/or HS? thx!

They are all great resorts and each of them has their supporters here. Each is beautifully themed, with great amenities and wonderful staffs. Most YC rooms have full baclonies, while few BC rooms do (not sure of BW). YC and BC have access to Stormalong Bay, which is an awesome pool, but the pool at BW is very nice also. They are all within walking distance of each other (it is a 5 minute walk from YC/BC around the lagoon to BW, and vice versa), so whichever one you stay at, you can easily visit the others.

As for the distance to park questions, BC is the closest to Epcot, but only by a couple hundred yards over YC and BW. BW is the closest to DHS (if you want to walk), but YC and BC are still only about a 20 minute walk away (versus around 15 from BW). BW has its own boat dock to DHS; YC and BC share a boat dock and YC is closer to that than BC.

The YC is getting ready to start refurbishing and won't be completed until late Nov. early Dec. so you might want to take that into consideration. BC & BWI have completed there's. I think I'd pick the BC because of SAB and it's marketplace. BWI doesn't really have a close by food court, you have to go on the boardwalk.
We've stayed at BWI and YC and like them both. We are staying at BC for our Dec. trip.

We have stayed at both BW and YC and enjoyed them both. The BW has alot of activity and atmosphere in the evenings, but you can easily and quickly get over there from YC/BC as well.

YC and BC are pretty much the same resort with the exception of the decor - YC has the darker woods, more quiet feel - I hesitate to say this, but kind of a more upscale feel - more adult, I guess...

The BC is more, well, beachy! Lots of families seem to prefer this one, but we stayed at YC with my DD for her 10th bday and enjoyed the more quiet feel to it.

There are definitely more eating options at YC/BC and you will have a slightly closer walk to Epcot from BC - but really not enough to make or break a decision!

Tough call!!! I would bet you will love any of them!!

We have stayed and experienced all 3 of those resorts as a family with 2 kids. You will get the same "general" feel at any of these resorts because of their awesome location in a "loop" around the water and in between Epcot and HS. It's heavenly! However, for us, there is a different "personal" feel at each resort. We felt like we fit in best at BC as it has a character meal and also Beaches & Cream. YC was very subtle, elegant, and quiet (to us) and while we loved it we simply prefer the family feel at BC. BWI is similar to YC as far as the lobby feeling. The difference is that as soon as you walk outside, the boardwalk is right there!

From BWI, it will be a bit quicker to get to HS. From BC, it will be a bit quicker to get to Epcot. A lot depends on room location too. The time differences are minimal, really.

We have stayed at all three and prefer the YC or the BWI because they are quieter...BC just seems like mass chaos every time we go over there

I would vote for the BC. The themeing is great for families and you get access to Storm-A-Long Bay.
