:earseek: I've got to make my payment in full tommorow for
the fairytale package. Is it worth the extra money to stay at
the Calypso or other preferred room over the others?

The Calypso Bldg is great. But even if you get Jazz, its right beside its still close to everything. The last bldg is a little bit of a walk but its really NOT that bad. We usually walk around at night. Its a fun place you will like it no matter what bldg.

We were in the Jazz building which is building closest to Calypso. There were nights back in September that I would have paid and additional $50/nite to have stayed there. lol Thank God, we were not in the Country building. All that walking did a number on my feet, especially with the wet shoes. My poor poor blistered toes.....oh well, maybe it won't rain so much during our next trip. Mickey

If you have small children...Yes it is worth it. If it all adults or older kids who can handle a little extra walking after a long day..don't bother.

I don't think so. We stayed in Jazz per our request last time and it was close enough. Also a bit quieter than Calypso

I wouldn't bother paying the extra money; we asked for and got Jazz Inn last year and it was fine and very, very quiet. Lots of little bunnies hopping around and nice landscaping. Not that far at all away from food or gift shops. Have fun.

It gets quieter the further away from the main pool and building one goes. Personally, I would not pay the extra $10 a night and just request to be in Jazz and hope not to be put into Country. Usually that is where the larger groups are put so most likely you will not be put there if there are tour groups around in the resort.

No way would I pay $10 a night just to be a little closer, and I have little kids. We loved the Jazz Building.

I would definitely pay the extra $10 only because we went there last year and were put in the Country building! We had requested Jazz and knew this wasn't a guarantee but hadn't planned on being put way back there. The mornings weren't bad, the walk was pleasant, but at night, coming back from the parks was horrible! We'd be so tired, it seemed like it took forever, especially with a four year old. We didn't have our own stroller, we rented them and it was not fun carrying a sleeping child all that way either. We said if we ever go back there again, we'd definitely get into the Calypso building.

Hope you enjoy your stay at ASMU, we really loved it there (except for our location!) and I always recommend it to families as a great place to stay while at WDW.

We are set to stay in Broadway at present time. It sounds as
though the place to be may in fact be the Jazz Inn. I think we'll
give it a try.
