help! arriving for wishes during light parade

Hello,

I'm heading to WDW in a couple of days! Yippee!!

Our schedule dictates that we arrive at MK around 6:15pm on the night we are going to see the Wishes fireworks. The fireworks start at 7pm and the light parade at 6pm.

I'm concerned about finding a spot for the fireworks with the parade going on. Does anyone know how long the parade lasts? Do many people leave after the light parade... or does everyone stick around for the fireworks?

Any suggestions on where to stand to see the fireworks, given that we will be dealing with crowds? Has anyone has success with the main street train station... or does that location get crowded early?

The train station is not the best place to be right now anyway...The Christmas tree blocks the view of the fireworks

The parade will be about half way through if you get there at 6:15... It is about 25 minutes long from start to finish. The best place to be on Main Street for the fireworks would be in front of the Christmas Tree. If you can get into the road after the parade you will be just fine. Think of it this way, you will be following up the end of the parade so you will be ahead of the people that are further down on Main Street watching it. A lot of people just stand in the middle of the road for the fireworks so you will be there to fill in the space
