help! applesauce gingerbread ornaments...

Hi I know someone can help me on this one...

I am in the middle of making applesauce gingerbread ornaments & the dough is so damp it's really sticky (!!) should I add more cinnamon or some flour?

the recipe I used is:

1 1/2 C ground cinnamon
1 C applesauce
1/4 C white school glue


I've made these before but it was over 15 yrs ago so I don't recall if I even used the same recipe...

I did a google search on applesauce gingerbread ornaments, no luck. However, gingerbread ornaments provided several sites with recipes.

I never add glue. That sounds like a very wet recipe. I never measure when I do it. I start with the cinamon and then add apple sauce till it is the right texture.

update: I think my original recipe didn't have glue either!!
too late so I did was to add a ton of flour & now they are turning out great like play doh
