Where to have birthday dinner?!

I know this has been asked before, but everyone seems to say Chef Mickey's, and i've heard really bad dinner reviews there, so I planned the birthday breakfast for there. I definitely want to do the breakfast at Chef Mickey's and I can't decide where to do dinner. I was thinking Liberty Tree Tavern or Beaches and Cream? Or suggest another please. Thank you!

16, but she isn't one of those teens who is "too mature" for a Disney restaurant that kids would enjoy, know what I mean?

Oh, Sweet Sixteen!! It has to be special then, doesn't it? :goodvibes

If it were my 16th b-day, I'd want dinner at either the castle or 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian - but that's just me! :teeth:

I believe, at both places (1900 Park Fare & CRT), you can special order a castle cake or the chocolate slipper dessert for the birthday girl.

Edited to Add - Liberty Tree Tavern is fun & is one of our very favorites; however, since you'll be eating at Chef Mickey's for breakfast, you might want something different (character-wise) for dinner. The characters at LTT are Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, & Dale, & the characters at Chef Mickey's are Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, & Dale. However, the food at LTT is really good...

SWEET 16, we took our entire family for my DS' 16th to CALIFORNIA GRILLE.
Planned right around the Fireworks. Had an AWESOME time. He wore his Disney Birthday Hat through the entire meal and a man at the table near to us came over and asked if they could borrow the hat has it was his DW's bday as well, they wanted to take some pictures with her and his family with the hat on!!

It was a wonderful and relaxing birthday dinner. We were there for a nice long time as TWO servers waited on us all night long!!!

I would vote for CRT for dinner. In general I wouldn't recommend CRT, but for an older child and a birthday, I think the ambience can't be beat.

The food to me is mediocre, but the atmosphere is the best @ WDW. Some people really love the menu, to me, it's not that great.

I also would not pick LTT for dinner if you have Chef Mickey's for breakfast, too much in one day IMO
