I was just playing with days leading up to my ADR day (tomorrow) and I'm noticing there are already no times for Ohana for the time I want.

A back up plan is needed!

Soo...my choice was Ohana at 8:45

Alternates, keeping in mind we will be at Animal Kingdom, through dusk - we have a full night planned later in trip as long as the hours cooperate. We are staying at Polynesian. We are probably going to Uber from park to wherever we eat, and then Uber back to Poly.

Alternates:

Whispering Canyon at 8:45
Grand Floridian Cafe at 8:45
Homecoming at 8:45
Kona Cafe at 8:45
Or perhaps an 8:00 dinner in Animal Kingdom? Tusker House or Yak n Yeti? (not Tiffins) Not sure how late reservations go since hours aren't final yet.

We already have plans at:
The Wave
Sanaa
California Grill
Chefs De France
Skipper Canteen
The Boathouse

Alternate: Get the Twilight Feast as room service?

Otherwise, I'd stay at AK and do Tusker House, or book Kona. Getting to Disney Springs is kind of a nuisance going AK-DS-Poly (look at a map and you'll probably see why).

Honestly, I'd stay in the park and eat at Yak and Yeti. It's one of our favorite places. If not, then my next vote goes to Kona.

Thanks guys!

I was looking at pictures of Yak and Yeti and it looks like a great atmosphere! But Tusker House has Donald...my problem is that the later hours probably won't be available because AK doesn't have October hours yet. If we don't get Ohana I may have to wait and make these later. Perhaps I'll get an 8:45 at Whispering Canyon and then grab one at Animal Kingdom if they start to offer hours later than 7...

I would head over to Boma

Keep trying, things change and adrs often come up when folks cancel

We didn't like O'Hana

We ate there for the first time a couple weeks ago and it got a big thumbs down from all four of us.

But if you must eat there try the free touring plans reservation finder that's how i got our O'Hana reservation over the month i checked tp found me three dining times to chose from for the four of us during spring break.

But dont say I didnt warn you -the food is nothing but mediocre.

We tend to take the approach of minimizing travel as much as possible, so I would vote to stay in AK (Yak n Yeti and TH are great options!) or Kona Cafe.

Yak and Yeti is one of our favorite places, so that would reduce your traveling. Also, as mentioned about, the twilight feast (Poly room service) would also reduce your traveling plus give you the same food as 'Ohana. FWIW, I think 'Ohana is overpriced and overhyped low quality food, but of course, there are others who would disagree with this opinion.

We got Ohana for the time we wanted so I grabbed it! We've never tried it and we are staying at Polynesian so we want to see it for ourselves. :)

Who knows, I could change my mind by then, but I'm glad I could get it for us.

The problem with Animal Kingdom is they don't have any reservations open past 6:45 since the hours aren't set for October, but if park is only open until 8, I don't want to waste the last hour of the day there in a restaurant.

Should I grab Yak & Yet for 6:45 in case hours are 9 or later?
