HELP!!! **Alfredo's in Epcot**????

Please give me your honest opinions about Alfredos. We want to try new restaurants in Disney that we never tried before and was wondering how the food is here. We are looking for an italian restaurant this time and have already eaten at Tonys Town Square and the food was just OK.

So tell me what you think.

Personally, I love Alfredo's. It has some of the best Caesar salad I have ever had along with some really good alfredo.

It is a "must do" everytime we go. I love it and I am puzzled at the negative comments I have seen here about this restaurant. The lasagna is the best in my opinion.

We were hesitant bacause of the bad reviews on here. My grandmother is from Italy, so I've been aroud Italian food my whole life. With that being said, we make sure to go AT LEAST once every trip.

My brother n law was originally from Italy and he always insisted that one of their meals be at Alfredos whenever they were in Disney. He also enjoyed talking with the CMs in Italian!!!

I love the fettucini alfredo at Alfredo's, so much so that is the only thing I ever order , but my family always orders other meals and they have been consistently good . I agree with you about Tony's (although I think your being kind when you say it's O.K.). I like the fettucini alfredo so much I actually go to Alfredo's here in NY just for it.

There is a very short list of places we have tried at WDW and will not be back ..and Alfredo's is at the top of the list. It is not just the food was bad... anyone can have an off night. But there was so much more.

The tables are so incredibily packed in. I do not believe they could get another one in there and pass the fire codes. People swing their napkins with the music and frankly, I can't stand being hit in the head repeatedly by my neighbor's dirty napkin.

And there is the so called service.. from the rude hostess to the could-care-less server, I was shocked. In all the trips to WDW and all the meals enjoyed there, I have never had such poor service. It was just not acceptable.

If you would like Italian, may I suggest Palio, Portobello Yachtclub or Mama Melrose. All have better food, atmosphere and service than Alfredo's.

My husband got food poisining the last time we were there so needless to say we won't be going back. I wouldn't say the food isn't good just after that how could we go back.

Just like everything there are people that love it and hate it. I have eaten at Alfredo's four times over the past five/six years and have never had a bad meal, in fact its always been very good. Service has always been good, this last time it was excellent, had refills without asking (that's a problem we always have) waiter checked in on us all the time, perfect.

I would definitly recommend.

We ate at Alfredo's in December 2005 and had the most magical experience!

One of the hosts spent about 10 minutes talking to my 10 month old DD in Italian - she was mezmorized (SP?)! It was like the two of them were in their own little world - it is one of those memories I will always remember fondly.

We sat outside, which was just delightful. I'm not sure what it is like sitting inside, but if it is a nice day, I would definitely recommend outdoor seating.

The food was wonderful - everyone in our party was pleased, including my father who spent his childhood eating with his Itailian grandparents all the time and working at their Itailian imports grocery store - so if he likes food at an Italian restaurant, it must mean something.

I would highly recommend Alfredo's - we are planning to revisit on our next trip.

We enjoy eating at Alfredo's and have eaten there many times over the years. Give it a try for yourself. I love the lasagna.

We love it..especially dinner with the accordian player entertaining and everyone singing Italian songs....might just be an Italian mother's take on it.. food was good.

I have been to Alfredo's and thought it was just OK. We have great Italian restaurants where I live, and enjoy their meals much more than the ones at Alfredo's. To me, it is just on par with an Olive Garden, which I really don't care for, at all. There are so many other really good restaurants at Disney, I would skip Alfredo's.

I don't like Tony's, I don't like Olive Garden, I loved Alfredo's. My DH who does not really like Italian restaurants really liked it also. Their spaghetti sauce was very much like my grandmother's, which is high praise!

For our family it's our favorite restaurant anywhere. If you like Olive Garden, you'll find this is quite different so YMMV.

Since you obviously have medical evidence to back up your claim (or do you?), I'll take your word for it.

We love Alfredo's. Great fetuccine alfredo, lasagne, calamari and tiramisu. Plus, a nice wine list.
