Hi everyone

We booked the Wonder on deck 2. But we are sort of close to the edge and I'm worried as we have 2 little kids. Plus it's below lounges and restaurants - it might be loud?

How do people feel about deck 1 mid ship? I'm worried about tender lobby and engine noise.

We have only cruised once and it was a long, long time ago! Advice would be appreciated :)

This is a lot of $$ to hate your room!!

Funny we got upgraded to deck one the first cruise we took . We were scared about all that stuff. But ended up loving it and only booking that deck and deck 2 for the port hole windows on the next 5 cruises.

It is great for getting off the ship at ports since you don't have to wait on elevator just go down your hall. Only a few flights up to the lobby and other resturants and shops. The noise wasn't bad that I can recall. Just remember that you can not use the aft stair/elevator to get to the room on the first deck. You can go down but everything is closed up there. You can use forward too but have to open the door to your passage way.

Great!! Thanks.

What about noise from deck 3? Is it quiet in the stateroom? I'm a light sleeper.

deck 2 is fine - done 4 cruises on Wonder and Magic on 2. Can be some daytime noise when you are in port or anchored for tendering, but there wasn't anything at night on ours. We have been aft, mid, and foreward too. Edge moved from 2 mid to 9 pool deck during dry dock.

If you don't have any tender ports, then the tender lobby doesn't mean much. Just expect that on any port days with tendering it will be more difficult to get to and from your room.

We booked deck 2 on the Wonder too with a little kid. I keep going back and forth wondering if we should change it but I haven't looked at the new layout. I think we're near the elevator, which is fine since we will be using a stroller quite a bit.

Spent many nights on many cruises on Deck 2. Love it. We also just spent time on Deck 7 in a Veranda cabin and missed my Deck 2 location.

Have also stayed on Deck 1 and it is fine but I prefer the larger porthole on Deck 2. We try to stay under the atrium area and never had a problem with noise from above.

We were in 2070 for the 2015 WBPC cruise and if we went to bed before about midnight, we could hear kids running along the walkway above our room (that side area of Tritons). I am not sure if it was a family that took their kids up there to run or what, but it was consistent each night...and it was running. I LOVED deck 2 and would sail there again if we decided to go there. One thing I would avoid is a room super close to the laundry room. It smelled of detergents and softners, it was hot in the hallway there and when it got busy, people would wait in the hall to get their laundry, iron, etc.

We loved deck 1! Easy access to elevators since you're coming from the bottom floor, very quiet, and we liked the two portholes. On our PC we were "upgraded" to deck 2 (major catastrophe - they gave us keys to a VERY out of service cabin, had to go back to guest services, etc). Deck 2 was nice too, but we would book deck 1 again in a heartbeat. I really don't think there was a big enough difference in the floors to really care either way. Now, we were on a PC trip when we were on deck 2, so passenger volume was pretty low in comparison to "normal" cruises.
