Help! 7 month booking query

Hi guys,

I would to book a studio at AKV beginning March 14th 2011 for 6 nights.
What date can I call Member Services to check availability? I'm confused!!

Has anyone had positive experience with calling MS at the 7 month window or using the reservation request form online?

Hi Lisa,

I called MS to book WLV at 7 months some time ago and it worked out fine for me. Back then the system was slightly more complicated because you had to call day by day, but now you can book up to 10 nights from 7 months from your first night. In your case (I believe it goes by calendar months not 180 days) you could call on the 14th of August to book all 6 nights.

Not sure what view you're trying for at AKV, but especially if you're trying to book value or concierge it might be an idea to have a backup reservation at your home resort and then move it to AKV if it's available at the 7 month window.

It is 7 months in advance of your check in date for up to 7 nights. In your case this would be 14 August.

I have had trouble at 7 months booking but AKV was available just not VWL, BCV or BWV.

We've been successful with reservations at 7 months out and less - most recently switching our reservation because of the volacnic ash disruption and managing to re-book only two weeks out (SSR, OKW and BLT )

So it's always a possibility, and availablity does change from day to day, making it definitely worthwhile calling back if you can't get your first choice straight away.

I've never used the online reservation request form, but there have been several posts here reporting success using it.
