Help? 2 trips upcoming

DSis just today decided we are going to be taking a trip to DW in December. We don't know how many days and our dates are flexible. It will be just DSis, me and DD (will be 19 months). Is my best bet to call and check for a pin, book through AAA or hold my breath waiting for some kind of offer for Disney cardholders? Can I book through AAA and then add on the free dining if it's offered? Also, DH, me and the kids are taking a trip sometime next spring/summer. I'm not sure exactly how a bounceback offer works but what are the chances that I would get one in December that I could use in the spring? I feel like I am going to be spending so much on DW stuff in the next year.....

Hard to say without knowing dates, I would say go AAA to have a room booked at least, values seem to go first when FD is involved so if you have one booked, and you qualify for FD I believe you can just change your existing AAA ressie( if made thru WDW, not sure how it works if made thru AAA) to the FD package. However, FD (so far) has always required the purchase of at leeast a 1 day base ticket per person on the ressie, not sure what your tickets situatin is like taking 2 trips, but wanted to point that out. If you have an AP or other tix already, you can simply not use the 1 day tix in the paackage, save those for a future trip or put them toward upgrading toa multiday. Also if you have a ressie and a room only code comes out you may also alter your ressie for that. I would book the resort you think you would like to be at even if you do not receive a code/discount. That way, if it doesn't happen you will still be happy with your choice. Enjoy your trips!
