Well after much reading on mine own I have come up with a few decisions I think but I need to know which are the best. I have 2 boys age 6 & 7 who are really pumped about going! I have picked some of the following. Please tell me which to avoid, a good time to go, or ones that I missed.

I am debating between Ohana's and Chef Mickey's for a breakfast. I am not sure which would be the best to go to.

I was thinking about a 4PM ADR at LTT.
For Fantasmic I was thinking about Hollywood & Vine.
Wispering Canyon Cafe for an early supper one night.

And is Artist Point a real upscale place that I will have to dress up with the boys or is it also casual?

Should we consider the Poly Luau? Or will the boys not like it.

Is there any place in Epcot worth a sit down meal? I have picky eaters

I thought about our first day there doing the HOOP-DEE-Doo, not sure if that is good for the first night. We will be getting there around 2 at the latest and I was thinking about the 5pm show?????

Am I missing any! Is there any place that has good seafood. HELP any qdvise would be greatly appreciated. My DH doesn't care what I plan he has never been there before either. As long as I leave him alone with the planning he is happy LOL

Artist Point is one of the "dressier" places but you'll be fine in casual attire. Just be clean and not in pool wear etc - lol

I have never done 'Ohana for b-fast but I have doen Chef Mickey's. I don't think you can go wrong with either one personally :)

Always have to becareful with attire for the boys my youngest who is 6 would go in his underwear or covered in mud and it wouldn't bother him. He still loves to run around nude. Not a good thing LOL

Are they crazy about Mickey Mouse? I would do Chef Mickey's if they are. We went for dinner and I was impressed at all the fuss the characters made. Really fun.

I don't know anything about Artist's Point, except that it is so beautiful inside. I think your choices are topnotch! Kids should really love it.

What is a good time to hit Chef Mickey's for dinner. That maybe something to do the first night and not use our ticket.

I would do Ohana for breakfast (my ds loves Stitch!) and Chef Mickeys for dinner. Maybe we just hit a bad night but we weren't overly impressed with WCC. I know my kids just love Sci-FI at MGM for lunch. Liberty Tree Tavern is a must do for us. Hollywood and Vine is just "okay" in my book - I prefer Mama Melrose or Hollywood Brown Derby for the Fantasmic package.

If this is your 1st time to WDW, and you can only choose one, I'd choose Chef Mickey's. The atmosphere is really fun (napkin twirling, fun songs, etc.), and I think your kids would enjoy watching the monorail come through the Contemporary. Chef Mickey's is a very "Disney" kind of experience.

That said, however, the food at 'Ohana's might be a little better, & you could get a table w/ a view of the castle

Chef Mickey's is a buffet while 'Ohana's is served family style. When we ate at Chef Mickey's last year for breakfast, we found the food "okay" - your typical breakfast buffet food. It was where we ate last year on our last morning, and so we've decided to eat there again this year. It really is a fun "must-do" kind of experience for us. (We were going to try Chef Mickey's for dinner this year, but I decided I'd rather have "so-so" food for breakfast than for dinner.)

I was thinking about a 4PM ADR at LTT.

We loved LTT! It was our first meal at Disney on our first night, and it was such a wonderful introduction to WDW! Good food! Great character interaction! Our daughter, who is normally very reserved, absolutely loved Minnie Mouse.

For Fantasmic I was thinking about Hollywood & Vine.

We ate at Hollywood & Vine last year for our FDP too, and we weren't impressed at all. The retro Hollywood decor is cute, but that was about it. Tables were very crowded & close together. Very noisy - but not a "fun" noise like Chef Mickey's, if that makes sense. The food on the buffet looked like it had been sitting there for quite a while (and we had a relatively early ADR - 6:15 pm). I normally like buffets because I'm sure that I'll be able to find something that the kids will eat, but we just didn't like Hollywood & Vine at all. Perhaps, we were there on a bad night because I've read some godo reviews for H & V. However, this year, we're trying Mama Melrose's for our FDP.

Wispering Canyon Cafe for an early supper one night.

I've read such good reviews for WCC! We're trying it for the 1st time this year as well! I chose it for dinner on our last night, so I hope it's as fun as all the reviews say!

We're trying the Garden Grill in the Land Showcase in Future World at Epcot. It's a character meal w/ Mickey, Chip, Dale, & Pluto (I think). The food is served family style, and the menu looks really good! The restaurant also slowly "revolves" which I think my kids will enjoy.

Regarding seafood, there is also the Coral Reef in the Living Seas Showcase in Future World at Epcot. I've read mixed reviews on this restaurant, however. But I think the setting would be cool w/ the fish swimming by in the aquarium - your boys would probably enjoy that.

Hoop De Doo looks very fun too! I've just never been able to work it into our schedule! Too many restaurants!

The only other restaurant that I would recommend is Crystal Palace in the MK. It's a character meal w/ Pooh & Friends. The food on the buffet is really good, & there are lots of wonderful selections. We eat there for lunch. However, you could do an early ADR & get into the MK before official opening time & have an opportunity for some amazing pictures along Main Street & in front of the castle.

Have fun choosing!
