Hells Kitchen! Official Discussion Thread, Come CHAT!

I thought BOTH of those desserts looked yummy! Bring on the full sized milkshake as far as I'm concerned! And her truffles just needed some plate decoration to look complete.

I'm hungry.....

So, who won? I'm mad at my fox channel right now. Apparently, around here ABC has Raven football games and Fox has the Eagles, so last night they played each other and guess what? :headache: Yep, both channels had the same game on and Hell's Kitchen wasn't on til 11, well I didn't make it. So, who one? :)

I fell asleep about 15 minutes before the show ended.... who won? I'm thinking Rock....but I'd love to know.

Thanks!!
Ginny

Rock won (big surprise.)

I didn't like him at first, but he seemed to get nicer as the show went on. Bonnie on the other hand, went the opposite way.

And I'm also glad to report that Melissa's zit on her chin has left the building.

Thank you. That's what I figured. Gee at the beginning of the season, some (and I'm not sure which one) gambling website got so many Rock was going to win bets, that they took it down figuring the news was leaked(something to that effect). Guess they were right.;)
Thanks again.

Not a zit, Melissa said that she was burned with hot oil in a NY newspaper interview.

I thought Rock was going to win. As far as the desserts go, I thought Rock's milkshakes looked much classier in the martini glasses.

For Julia this is still a very fresh wound and walking back in there seeing what she was so close to was a very emotional time for her. It would have been for me. She really put her all into it. I do wish she could have composed herself better but at least we know she was being real and really trying.

I do hope to see her back very soon and see her take the whole thing!

I know I'm a week late commenting on this, but just now saw this thread. I agree with everything you've said above.

I was rooting for Julia throughout this thing, and nearly cried, myself, when she was eliminated. It just burned me to no end how most of the others kept taking jabs at her for being a Waffle House waitress - ESPECIALLY Bonnie. I felt like yelling at the TV, "Bonnie, honey, you WORK FOR rich people - that doesn't make YOU rich - or give you any class!"

As far as Julia crying on the semi-finale - Who DIDN'T cry at some point during this season? Why is it any worse for her to cry?

No big surprise there, but I really didn't think it was a true contest with him against Bonnie :sad2:

This was the worse pairing since Sanjaya and ....ANYBODY!! :lmao:

I'm sorry but I literally had to press the MUTE button everytime Bonnie spoke. Every order she called out included the words "for ME".... Did she REALLY think that that would make the girls want to work HARDER?

Rock was an much better leader. He led his group with confidence and integrity. Bonnie would fail Management 101....:rotfl:

Glad it's over. Wish it was Julia vs Rock but I'm sure she'll do fine. I went to Waffle House this weekend and thought of her the whole time! :thumbsup2

Once Bonnie ran out of 2 dishes I knew Rock was going to win.
He deserved It I thought, he was more consistent.

I am very glad that Roc won..........he really deserved it. AND Julia had a really bad attitude in the kitchen last night. These people forget I guess that restaurant owners and chefs watch this too and they could get a few great offers....not with a bad attitude like that though. I liked Julia but now think she kinda has a chip on her shoulder with Bonnie ( who didn't deserve to win either).

I was all set to start using some "Hell's Kitchen" language. I thought for sure that Chef Ramsey was going to pick Bonnie. (He does seem to like the ladies.)

I'm very happy for Rock. You can see that he's paid his dues and has worked extremely hard to get to where he is now. Bonnie on the other hand seems to flit from one thing to another and doesn't know what she wants to do when she "grows up."

YAY!! ROCK WON!!

You know, my Dh and I watched the whole freaking season then last night we forgot and MISSED the finale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope the play a rerun so we can see it.

Glad Rock won. Well, at least over nanny chick. If he had chosen her I would have said it was because there had to have been something going on in the back room. No way could she have been executive chef at a nice restaurant. She has problems just being a line cook.:sad2:

Technically she only ran out of one dish. She just ran out of two ingrediants in the same dish.

I predicted that Rock would win from watching the beginning episodes -- at least I hoped he'd win.
