how does the magic your way deluxe dinning work....it says 3 meals a day...can that be 3 table services a day.....confused

Yes, with deluxe dining you get 3 meal credits per day which can be used for either counter service or table service meals. It is your choice on how you use them. Some table service meals take 2 credits per person so keep that in mind as you plan.

Yes it can be 3 Table Service (TS) meals a day.
You can use it however you choose. Lots of folks recommend a 1 credit TS breakfast followed be a 2 TS Signature Dinner at night. But if you want to do3 sitdown TS meals each day you can do that

We always do DxDDP and we love it  We usually do a character meal for breakfast and a signature meal for dinner. It seems to work for us because we love to eat  When we first started doing DxDDP DD wouldn't eat CS at all. She still won't eat hamburgers, french fries, nuggets or anything like that so eating TS just makes more sense for our family. We don't have fast food where we live so she just isn't used to that type of food :confused3 Poor kid, she doesn't know what she's missing:lmao: She won't even touch ketchup :rotfl2:

the first night i get there it will be late.....will i still be able to use the first 3 meals the following days like the dining plan with the creadits or is it different for this plan.....

It is the same method, just more TS credits.

If you choose to eat three signature meals in one day (6 credits per person) you can. Once you use your credits, you are done.

The plan goes by the number of nights you were at Disney. So if you're booked for four nights then you will get 12 dining credits. You can use them any way you choose. If you get in late on your first day, then you could use those extra two credits toward meals on your checkout day or toward two-credit signature meals.

You should really research the DxDP some more. Every TS meal comes with an appetizer, entree and dessert per person which is a ton of food. Additionally, breakfasts and QS meals are not good values on DxDP so if you plan on using your credits for QS meals, you should know that you've paid more for that credit than what you are getting back with that QS meal. Unless you plan to do a lot of signature meals and/or multiple TS meals per day (which is A LOT of food), it may not be the best value. Something to consider at $70+ per adult per night.

$70+? It's $85 per person, per day I think in 2012. Which is just plain ridiculous. We did DxDP for three nights on our last trip and really enjoyed it. But the price went up quite a bit between 2011 and 2012 and I doubt we'll ever get it again because of the cost. TIW just makes more sense for us.

Jeez, that is ridiculous. Last time we did DxDP it was in the $70 PP range if I remember correctly, thats where I got that from. Then it wasn't a good value, I can't imagine what you'd have to eat now to get your money back :confused3
